Times-Sinclair TS1500
Possibly because of the RAM pack wobble problems, possibly because the US weren't interested in a 2K machine and possibly because they didn't like the keyboard Timex redesigned the TS1000 board, gave it 16K RAM and stuck it into a modified Spectrum case. This beast was christened the TS1500 and its marketing catchphrase was "Nothing so smart was ever so simple..." [tm]. This particular machine has never been out of its poly bag!
